The Fit to Educate Story

“I am exhausted.”
“I have no energy.”
“There simply isn’t enough time in the day.”
“None of my clothes fit.”
“I can’t seem to motivate myself.”
“I wish there was someone out there who could help ME!”

Sound familiar?

Sure it does as millions of Americans fight the battle of the bulge, these are just a few things… admit it – excuses people make every day.

But what if as a teacher you are expected to perform 5 days a week in front of the children of our future? What if it is your job to motivate the young minds of tomorrow and you need to be on the top of your game to keep your students engaged?

I decided to ask the education industry and let me tell you what happened.

But first….

Hi my name is Bobby Kelly and I am a highly sought after fitness trainer and motivational speaker. For the past 18 years, I have trained people from all walks of life. From the former President of the United States, to professional athletes, to soccer moms trying to fit back into a smaller size, all the way to little Johnny trying to get more playing time on his little league team, I’ve trained them all.

So I know a thing or two about motivating my clients, getting them into the best shape of their lives and energizing them to be better moms, dads, employers, co-workers, athletes, and teachers.

You see adding exercise is not always about fitting into the tightest skirt or looking great in a swimsuit. Often times it is something as simple as reversing the effects of aging, lowering cholesterol, getting of medications, reducing sick days, less trips to the doctor and feeling better and more confident about your self.

The Problem?

You and over 60% of society don’t make the time, you don’t see the benefit from adding a routine to your schedule, you get bored, and you don’t know what to do in the gym or how to exercise properly so you worry about getting hurt.

Having 22 and 17 year old boys, I have been to enough parent teacher conferences to see the fatigue, anxiety, and lack of motivation from their teachers. Also multiple members of my family, including my two sisters, are full time teachers so I hear about the feelings of teachers being underappreciated, overworked, and under paid.

Giving back is something you must do if you choose a career as a teacher, administrator or education professional. But who gives back to our teachers? Sure you receive an occasional gift card but usually it’s cupcakes and brownies on Teacher Appreciation Day or at the end of the year school parties.

Seriously… do you really need another plate of cookies?

Talk a walk down any school hallway and you can see the dramatic turn both our children and educators have taken toward being part of our largely de-conditioned population.

Why?

Teachers get up at 4, 5, 6 am to get ready for school.
They arrive between 6:30am and 7:30am to run nonstop without breaks until 2:30pm – 3:00pm.

Then there are after school activities, school committee meetings, sports teams or clubs that require extra time, or they simply end up offering extra help. Now it is even later in the day and they either- want to go home to a family, continue working towards their Masters or PhD or maybe they head to a second job.

Next thing you know they end up grabbing something to eat on the fly or from a fast food takeout window, go home, and crash for the evening to start all over again tomorrow.

I hear this time and time again. So I decided enough was enough.

Teachers needed help.

I conducted focus group after focus group.
It was important for me to ask them what would work for you, how you would eat better, find the time, and motivation to workout and make a lifestyle change that works for you. Let me tell you… I learned a ton…

It became obvious teachers needed:

• Easy to follow fitness routines
• Fast paced, results oriented, workouts
• Exercises that could be done in their classroom, at home or with no equipment
• Programs that could be done in less than 30 minutes
• Simple food plans that can be made quickly and easily
• Examples of nutritionally healthy and on the go meal plans

AND every single tool I provide has to absolutely produce:

• Improved Energy
• Ability to teach all day without Fatigue
• Better Moods
• Rapid Fat Loss
• Brighter Skin
• A Pain Free Body
• Reduced need for Medications

But wait they also wanted:

• Better Posture
• Increased Strength
• Improved Flexibility
• Cardiovascular Endurance
• Tighter Abs
• Core stability and Better Balance
• Drop Clothes Sizes

And if that wasn’t enough:

• Win the battle of the bulge,
• Reverse the Aging Process
• It has to be Guaranteed
• And it had to be in “Magic” Pill Form

Sure this was going to be easy! Seriously, it sounds ridiculous but I knew this could be done. (Well, everything except the magic pill that you take once a day and not have to do anything else.)

Teachers, Educators, Administrators, and Educational Staff give so much of themselves and often times it is at the expense of their own personal time and health.

My expertise is providing exactly what they desire and now someone was finally asking teachers for input. Unfortunately personal training is a pricey, high ticket item and for many in the education field it is just not affordable. A $50 an hour trainer is a luxury many in the education field couldn’t choose to add to a budget 2-3x a week let alone afford someone who charges double the going rate.

The Fit to Educate program offers the ability to get their lives back; to take control of their own personal health and well being so they can concentrate on being powerful leaders while feeling and looking better.

Through live events, personal appearances, continuing education, and very considerate and generous sponsors they now have the ability to receive the instruction, and training necessary to create their own personal wellness program that is efficient and effective so even the busiest teachers can find the time the exercise and eat healthy.
